Hyundai Motor India has recently launched the new variant of its widely popular Creta in April 2019. Hyundai had previously discontinued the production of ‘E+’ after its launch of the new variant. The Hyundai Creta EX is available in seven variants-E, EX, S, SX, SX Dual Tone, SX (O) and SX (O) Executive.

The base model of new Creta starts from Rs. 10 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 19 lakhs. The car is available in both petrol as well as diesel variants. The EX variant comes with extra safety and convenience. The new variant of Creta also has more features than the previous model that is ‘E+’. Hyundai has also stopped producing its automatic version of the S diesel variant.

The new car will get 5.0 touch audio, steering mounted audio controls, map lamp, sunglass holder, two tweeters and front USB charger. The petrol model of the new Hyundai Creta EX variant comes with LED DRLs, rear armrest with integrated cup holder, reverse parking camera and adjustable headrest for the rear seats. The diesel variant, on the other hand, will feature all the above features with the addition of a five-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering-mounted controls, sunglass holder and a front USB charging socket as well.

In addition to these features, all the models of EX variant have now dual airbags, ABS with EBD, high-speed alert, and seat belt reminder, ensuring extra safety for occupants of the car.

The new variant of Creta, however, is slightly more expensive than the previous models. Many more interesting features of the car include speed and impact sensing auto door lock, lane change indicator, engine immobilizer, ESC, HAC, rear defogger and ISOFIX, among others. The top-spec Hyundai Creta variants also come with six airbags as a standard protocol. The car is available in nine different colours, too.

With some superb updated features in this car, Hyundai is looking to lure more customers into buying the new Creta variant. If these features impress you, and you do plan to buy one, consider booking a test drive by heading to the official website of Hyundai and seal your decision.
