Audi To Unveil Long-Anticipated Q8 SUV In January 2020
Audi was planning to launch Q8 by the end of 2019, but the launch has now been deferred to January 2020. After all the wait, Audi Q8 will finally hit the roads in January 2020 and the new coupe-SUV will go on sale in India on January 15. Interestingly, the all-new Q8 is arriving just about a couple of weeks before the Auto Expo 2020, which is an apt decision considering the Ingolstadt-based carmaker will not partake in the upcoming auto show.
Due to the consumer’s interest in technology rather than driving features, the Q8 SUV uses advent-grade technology gears. Audi Q8 is going to be the first SUV version that will contain a new infotainment system that sports 2 touch screens along with a haptic feedback system. The screen is properly incorporated into a traditional but lavish vehicle cabin. In terms of the interior space, Audi Q8 has only two-row seats but is spacious enough to accommodate adults. Added to this, the headroom makes the users feel that they are not in a car whose structure resembles the coupe.
The car sports an exclusive design in the entire SUV series with a tough front façade. An octagonal broader chrome grille and additional 22-inches wheels are two vital advancements that customers will love in Audi Q8. The makers suggest that Q8 is smaller and sportier in size and outlook than its former variant Audi Q7.
The braking system of Audi Q8 is quite impressive with stops from 70 mph taking 170 feet. The car features a standard suspension system and supports an exceptional riding quality. There are air springs that come along with a 6-mode version of Audi drive select.
In the case of the performance, its 3.0 Liter engine isn’t expected to be out-of-the-box. Evaluating the sedan from its rear seats, its suspension can handle a considerable amount of power. There are assumptions that the sedan will offer a fair performance on the bumpy and unstable terrains. As per the details, Audi Q8 sports an air-spring and a steel sprung suspension system. Moreover, the car features the mileage specification to be around 7 kmpl in the city and around 10 kmpl on the highway roads. Under the skin, a V-6, 3.0 Liter, the turbo diesel engine is fitted which produces a power of 335 BHP and peak torque output of 369 RPM.
The overall features of Audi Q8 suggest that BMW X6 and GLE Coupe can give a tough competition to this model. The expected price of the model stands at Rs 90 Lakh to 1 Crore.
