CFMoto Enters Indian Motorcycles Market
The much-awaited Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, CFMoto has finally entered the lucrative 21.18Million Indian motorcycles market by opening its first showroom in India at Thane on November 20. The brand has introduced four motorcycles to lure in the customers.
The Chinese motorcycle manufacturer has partnered with Indian Anvita Autotech Works Company forming a joint venture for presenting its wide range of motorcycles in India. Currently, CFMoto is actively selling its products in more than 100 countries and India is one of the largest motorcycle markets over the world, this is a big step by CFMoto to increase its width of the market.
India includes some of the biggest motorcycle manufacturers in the market that includes over 14 International as well as Indian bike brands. These brands include American Harley-Davidson, Japanese Kawasaki, Italian Ducati, British Triumph Motorcycles, Italian MV Augusta, American Indian, Japanese Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and more.
CFMoto has tied up with Indian Anvita Autotech which was formerly known as AWM for introducing its four bikes – 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and 650GT that is priced at Rs. 2.29Lakh, 3.99Lakh, 4.99Lakh, and 5.49Lakh respectively. Currently, all the bikes function on the BS4-compliant engines but as per CFMoto, these bikes will accompany BS6-compliant engines once the sales start.
Anvita AutoTech Works has invested Rs. 80 crore in setting up an assembly plant near Bangalore. With such an investment and powerful products, it is clear that the brand has plans to infiltrate the Indian motorcycle market at the earliest.
