The year 2019 has been really exciting for car enthusiasts. With some mind-boggling creations and speed records, this year’s supercars have won the hearts of millennials all around the world. We have seen some intriguing performance from electric vehicles and speed records have been broken as new technology-fueled automakers compete for the title of doling out the fastest cars.

As 2019 nears its end, we bring to you a list of some of the fastest street-legal cars of the year.

Pagani is known to offer some elite collection models designed to be true pieces of art on wheels. But Huayra is not just about its looks. With a tuned turbocharged Mercedes AMG V12 engine that churns out 700hp, this vehicle can reach up to a top speed of 370kmph.

The early bud Zenvo hit the car scene in 2008 but gained popularity for its prototype model. That prototype is now known as the Zenvo TS1. With a 5.8-liter V8 engine with twin superchargers and 1,163hp, it can reach up to a top speed of 375kmph.

Making its debut in the car arena in 1994, Koenigsegg has offered some really impressive supercars. Regera gained popularity for its Autoskin feature. But, that’s not it. By combining three electric motors with 5-litre-twin-turbo V8, engineers designed a machine that can generate 1500hp and reach up to a top speed of 502kmph.

Hennessey is a car tuning brand that specializes in modifying super sports cars and giving them infinite power to perform like a track beast. However, Venom GT is a car of its own, engineered by the finest in Hennessey. The car reaches a top speed of 435kmph through its 7.0-liter V-8 engine fed by twin Precision turbochargers generating 1244hp.

The second position is taken by another creation from Koenigsegg, the Agera RS that set the world record of the fastest production car with a top speed of 445kmph. It boasts a 5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that generates 1350hp. There are 25 models of the Agera RS and each of them varies in color, stitching, power output, and name.

Bugatti Chiron Modified ranks number one on our list. The modified version is longer and gets more aerodynamics than the previous version. This supercar is still a pre-production prototype but it has successfully set the world record of being the fastest supercar, reaching a top speed of 489kmph. It is also the first car to break the 300mph barrier.
