Dominar 400 Sees Hike in Sales For May
Bajaj Dominar 400, the highest engine displacement bike offered by Bajaj, has stacked up sales up to 58% in May by selling 1888 units. Dominar 400 is the flagship motorcycle offered by Bajaj Auto and the 2019 edition has come with some new upgrades and several new features on the cosmetic as well.
The upgrades are visible and attractive, performance is enhanced and new color shades have been introduced. Starting with the front, one can see a reversed headlamp unit with instrument console, fuel tank secondary display and a new twin-barrel exhaust.
The center of power remains the same as the vehicle generates power from the 373.3cc motor but with enhanced power and speed. The main competitors of Dominar involve the products of KTM (RC 390 & Duke 390) and Royal Enfield’s 500cc offerings. Dominar 400 did so well that it managed to outsell Royal Enfield’s range of 500cc motorcycles that include Classic 500, Bullet 500 and Thunderbird 500.
In terms of cost, the bike is priced around Rs. 1.74Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) which makes it much affordable against its rivals. But the fun does not end just yet; the enhancements made in the Dominar not only improve its performance but also increases the comfort of the rider. To make the riding experience must smooth, Dominar 400 is equipped with inverted forks with a radial brake caliper for the front.
