Ford has finally revealed it! The new and updated Ford Mustang will touch the shores of the country by April next year. The automobile that was revealed at the 2018 Frankfurt Show has been on sale in the international market for quite a long time now.
The India-spec model of the Mustang facelift will feature the same 5.0-litre, V8 engine but with upgraded motor producing 450hp. But, there is a twist. Ford plans to offer the new Mustang with a 10-speed automatic gearbox, instead of the 6-speed torque converter unit.
The new Mustang will also come with a lowered bonnet and integrated vents on it, and the grille gets slimmer with a sleeker unit. The car also gets a tweaked rear end with a redesigned bumper and diffuser. All in all, Ford has added some sporty features in the car that give this powerhouse an aggressive look.
The new Mustang will arrive in the country with three exterior paint shades, blue, orange and red. Moreover, the interiors of the new Mustang have also been tweaked. The India-spec model will come with a 12.0-inch LCD instrument display and uses soft-touch plastic in the center console and doors. On the outer side, the equipment has been updated to include LED lights as standard and adaptive cruise control. More details for the Mustang facelift will be revealed once the market launch happens.
