Honda India Launches BS-VI Activa 125 at Rs. 67,490
Honda Motorcycles & Scooters India launched the new BS-VI compliant Activa 125 in India on September 11. The vehicle will be available in three variants – Standard, Allow, & Delux with a price tag of Rs. 67,490, Rs. 70,990 & Rs. 74,490 respectively. The vehicle has received a few mechanical tweaks in the engine that include newly programmed fuel injection. To meet the new emission norms, Honda has retained some of its features from the previous generation.
The brand has also introduced several attractive changes in the BS-VI compliant variant that involves restyled LED positioning in headlamps, a front chrome chest and embossed Activa 125 logo on the taillight. Along with these outer features, the new Activa 125 also gets new interior features such as a silent starter system and a new digital-analog meter as well.
The BS-VI compliant Activa 125 is powered by the same 124.9cc engine generating 8.1PS and 10.54Nm of torque. For better performance, it will be offered with a fuel-injection which Honda claims to be 13% more efficient than the older version. It would also get telescopic shock absorber in the front and mono-shock absorber at the back providing a comfortable and safe ride. It would also feature an ACG starter that sources power from the AC generator eliminating the need for starter motor. Honda Activa 125 will be available in 6 color options – Rebel Red Metallic, Black, Heavy Grey Metallic, Midnight Blue Metallic, Pearl Precious While, & Majestic Brown Metallic.
