Hyundai Elite i20 Spotted Testing Under Camouflage
To stay in the market and keep up with the rising competition, Hyundai is ready with the third-generation concept of its premium hatchback, the Elite i20. The car has been the best for the year 2015, and with its space, power, features and astonishing interiors, has always managed to win over hearts.
The new, camouflaged model of the Elite i20 was spotted undergoing tests near Hyundai’s manufacturing facility in Chennai. So far, the vehicle is expected to continue with the low and wide stance and the side profile will be almost similar to the current version.
Hyundai in this concept of the i20 has offered rich features for its customers along with speed and power. It is expected to be available with six airbags, wireless charging, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment compatible with every mobile device.
In terms of power, it is expected to feature a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with the 7-speed DTC option. To make the model more interesting, the unit will also be available in 2 different versions, 120ps, and 100ps with 172Nm of torque. It will also continue the 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder engine in the petrol variant. For the diesel variant, it will be featuring the 1.4-litre engine. All the models are expected to launch in the market by 2020 and will follow the BS VI norms.
The Hyundai Elite i20 is a great work of art and will feature many changes in terms of comfort but it will be amazing to see how the vehicle performs against its formal rival companies Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, Honda, and Volkswagen.
