Jawa Celebrates 90 years of success with Jawa 90th Anniversary Edition
To celebrate 90 years of existence, Jawa announced a limited-edition motorcycle based on the dual-channel ABS Jawa. The Jawa ‘90th Anniversary Edition’ will reach dealerships by October 15, 2019, and will be limited to 90 units. Customers with existing bookings or the ones who make it before October 22 will be eligible to opt for a lucky draw to determine whether they will get the limited edition bike.
The limited-edition wears a red and ivory paint scheme just like the Jawa 500 OHV (brand’s first motorcycle back in 1929). All the 90 units of this limited-edition motorcycle will also sport a 90th-anniversary commemorative emblem on the fuel tank featuring an individual serial number.
The motorcycle will be powered by a 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine generating 27hp and 28Nm of torque. Jawa has been offering several motorcycles with the motive of offering optimum comfort and muscle power to its customers. Now, the brand with the motive of celebrating its 90th anniversary has launched the Jawa limited edition. It will be interesting to see how much appreciation this motorcycle gets and by the looks, it seems like a fairly toned motorcycle with enough features to meet the challenges of the Indian roads.
