Jawa Perak to be Launched at an Attractive Price of Rs. 1.95Lakh
After the successful launch of Jawa and Forty Two, Jawa Moto is all set to launch its third and last model it showcased in 2018, the Jawa Perak. With an engine upgrade that meets BS6 norms, the Perak will be priced at Rs. 1.95Lakh (ex-showroom).
The bookings for the Perak will commence from January 1, 2020 and the deliveries for the motorcycle will begin much later, in April 2, 2020. The waiting period is similar to what we saw for the other two models.
In terms of looks, Perak looks very different from its siblings and gets a low and long stance. It also gives up all the chrome for matte-black treatment, and the bobber styling cues look quite impressive on Perak. It is a single-seat motorcycle that features different toolbox design and the bobber-like styling elements include a floating seat, bar-end mirrors, chopped fenders, and stubby exhaust mufflers.
The Perak bobber boasts of a BS6-compliant 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that generates 30hp and 31Nm of torque. With a larger bore, Jawa Perak generates more power than the other two motorcycles offered by the brand. It also employs a different subframe and a mono-shock suspension setup at the rear.
