KIA Motors Takes the First Step to Enter into Indian Market
Kia Motors unveiled its first product in the Indian market, making a debut with Seltos, a car designed to meet all possible expectations of Indian customers. Being an SUV, the overall body of KIA Seltos carries a lot of bulk in it, but even so, it carries sleek edges to meet the requirements of speed that customers imagine.
At the venue, Manohar Bhat, Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing, KIA Motors India stated that KIA realized the unmet needs of the Indian customers which are the center focus of Seltos’ development. Packed with global features such as advanced connected car tech- UVO, it has several advantages like vehicle management, navigation, and more.
As per KIA motors, KIA Seltos SUV will get BS-6 petrol, turbo petrol, and diesel engine. While driving this vehicle, owners will be able to shift their experience between Normal, Eco and Sports driving modes. KIA is probably going to operate at 256 touchpoints through authorized KIA dealerships.
Expected to carry a price in the range of Rs 11-17 Lakhs, it will compete in the segment of Jeep Compass and Renault Duster. Currently, the company has revealed two colors for Seltos which will be available for the customers. Packed with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen, 360-degree camera, a Bose Sound System, heads-up display, power-adjustable driver seats, front and rear parking sensors, sunroof, ventilated seats, and automatic climate control, this vehicle is a perfect example of comfort with class.
Apart from being a classy car, KIA has also engaged a lot of safety features that include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Assist Control, and Vehicle Stability Management.
