Kia Seltos to be launched on August 22; Prices for the New Monster Leaked
Kia Motors will be launching its SUV Seltos in the country on August 22. The company announced the commencement of bookings earlier this year as it received 6000 bookings in just 24 hours. The launch is scheduled to happen by 7 pm and will come out in public with two trims – The GT Line for performance enthusiasts and the Tech Line for a family car. Seltos being a BSVI compliant vehicle will offer some exciting features, stylish design, and high-standard performance. As per the sources, the prices for this new monster have been leaked and it will be available to the customers for Rs. 9.69Lakhs for the lowest variant. The prices will go up to 15.99Lakhs for the highest variant.
Under the hood, Kia Seltos will be available in three variants: the 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre Diesel and the first in this segment 1.4-litre Turbo Petrol. Kia will offer this SUV in 3-automatic transmission options that include- 7DCT, IVT, and 6 AT with 6-speed Manual Transmission. The aim behind offering this vehicle is to provide a range of engine and gearbox options to the customers while matching their needs and driving style.
Kia Seltos features a stylish tiger-nose grille with LED headlamps and DRLs. It is accompanied by a metallic muffler effect at the rear bumper and a chrome-finished window line rising sharply towards the rear. The Kia Seltos also sports contrast roof, slim LED fog lamps, and a chrome strip on the A-pillar and pull-door type handle. Being equipped with the UVO connect car technology, the vehicle boasts of 37 amazing smart features under 5 distinctive categories – Navigation, Safety & Security, Vehicle Management, Remote Control, and Convenience.
The wowing features of the new Kia Seltos do not end just here as on the inside, this SUV makes sure to create a world completely different from outside. Seltos sports a segment-first 8-inch head-up display along with some notable features such as 360-degree camera, wireless charging, push-button start, and in-car wifi. So, the safety side of Kia Seltos involves six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, HAC, VSM with high usage of high strength steel (AHSS).
