KTM 790 Adventure to be Launched in India with BS-VI Engine
The globally recognized Austrian Brand will launch its latest model, KTM 790 Adventure by next year. The vehicle will arrive with a BS-VI compliant engine and as per the difference in International prices, KTM 790 Adventure will carry a price tag higher than the KTM 790.
Currently, KTM is expected to launch just the Standard version of 790 Adventure and not the 790 Adventure R. Powered by 799cc, parallel-twin engine that generates 94hp and 88Nm of torque, both the versions will sport similar 21-inch front wheel, engine tuning, and braking hardware.
The only difference in these vehicles is the suspension, KTM 790 Adventure R sports a 48mm WP XPLOR front fork with massive 240mm suspension travel, whereas, the Standard version features a 43mm USD fork.
The braking hardware of the vehicles consists of twin 320mm discs with radically-mounted four-piston calipers and 260mm discs at the back. 790 Adventure weighs around 189kg with a massive ground clearance of 233mm.
KTM 790 Adventure will carry a price tag higher than the 790 Duke. For an easy explanation, you can consider the price difference in the United Kingdom where 790 Duke costs around £8,799 (Rs. 7.70Lakh), while 790 Duke Adventure is priced at £11,099 (Rs. 9.72Lakh).
The difference will probably remain the same in India allowing the price tag for KTM 790 Adventure to reach up to Rs. 10.5Lakh.
