Maruti Suzuki Initiates Help to Victims of Rain-Hit Mumbai
Maruti Suzuki, a prominent automobile brand of India has reached out to the customers with precautionary steps to prevent car damage in the situations caused in Mumbai. To help the customers, more than 3.5Lakhs messages have been sent to the customers informing the preventive measures that would help them protect their vehicles from massive damage.
The company has listed several measures for this activity that includes appointing-wise service managers to help customers that are in distress. To make it much simpler, mobile numbers of the Service Managers are being shared with the customers to help them reach out for assistance instantly. Maruti Suzuki has also started a vehicle towing service with the help of several towing agencies providing seamless assistance 24*7. Inventory of the spare parts has also been strengthened to prevent the shortage and the company has also tied-up with insurance firms for quick disposal of claims.
According to Partho Banerjee, Executive Director, Service, Maruti Suzuki India, “In these difficult times, quick movement of people helps them to address challenges in an effective manner. We are committed to ensure full-fledged support to our customers in this time of severity. Our request to customers is to not start a submerged car. This will help prevent consequential damages. Our dedicated teams have taken position at workshops to handle customers’ cars promptly. It is Maruti Suzuki’s endeavour to educate customers to handle cars impacted by water intrusion. Our similar proactive initiatives in other instances of the flood have helped reduce damage to their cars”. (sic)
