Maruti Suzuki to Offer Four Variants for S-Presso
Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, the micro-SUV from India’s largest automobile maker has been a lot in the talks lately. This oddly designed car has been expected to offer a lot of features including a BS-VI compliant engine. The price announcement for this micro-SUV was decided for September 30, and now recent reports say that the brand will launch four variants of the car to rival the veritable Renault Kwid.
The vehicle will sport a 1.0-litre engine capable of generating 68HP and 90Nm of torque. It will come with ARAI-rated mileage of 24.07kmpl and will subsequently roll out on other Maruti models. The styling of the S-Presso is quite different from other hatchbacks that Maruti has offered. S-Presso is based on the Future S Concept and hence will have a different approach from other automobile makers.
For the production-spec version, the Future S will sport a squared-out proportion and pseudo-SUV just like the Renault Kwid. Along with that, S-Presso will be the first car from Maruti Suzuki to feature a digital speedometer which will be mounted in the center.
However, there is no information about Alto K10 being shut down, so it can be said for now that the brand will continue doling out K10 alongside S-Presso, which is expected to range between Rs. 3.3Lakhs and 4.7Lakhs.
