MG eZS Ready to Exhilarate Indian Market by End of 2019
India is rated as one of the major automobile markets globally that tempts several companies to launch their products in this highly competitive market. Morris Garages, understanding the potential of the Indian market, introduced Hector (a midsized SUV) that competes in the segment of Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV500, Jeep Compass, and the dominant Hyundai Creta.
The company does not plan to stop at this point just yet and has other models lined up for the launch. Among these products, MG eZS will be the second product offered and will hit the deck by the end of 2019. As we know that the competition in the automobile industry is rising up a notch every single day and it makes necessary for every company to get their hands on the first mover’s advantage.
According to Rajeev Chaba, President and MD, MG Motors India, electric vehicles are the future of the automobile industry and every company needs to make a start before the infrastructure develops. The upcoming eZS is expected to range up to 300kms on a single charge and will be powered by a 52.5kWh lithium-ion battery. Moreover, the company has also announced a tie-up with a Finland-based company Fortum for the installation of 50kW DC fast-charging Electronic vehicle stations across the country. The vehicle will use a 110kW electric motor that is capable of generating 150bhp and 350Nm.
So far, the price of this creation has not been revealed but it is estimated at around Rs. 25Lakhs and will be a worthy competitor for Hyundai Kona Electric.
