Much-Awaited Renault Duster Facelift Scheduled to Launch on July 8
Renault, a trusted company in the automobile industry is all set to launch the new Duster Facelift by July 8. It is the most successful creation of Renault for the Indian market and now it has done advancements in the model for better performance and enhanced experience. The company has been road-testing the vehicle for quite a long time and now it is ready to be launched in the Indian market.
The updated Renault Duster gets its looks from the Euro-spec Dacia Duster and will feature new headlamps, and additional lighting inserts. The headlamps would also feature projector lights and LED daytime running lamps. The Duster would also get a set of new alloy wheels and the rest of the profile will remain the same. It would also feature a redesigned rear bumper and will be equipped with a lot of safety equipment to meet the new crash norms. To meet the crash norms, the vehicle would feature dual airbags and Electronic Stability Control Program.
In terms of power, Renault Duster Facelift will remain unchanged with their engine, offering 105bhp through 1.5-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that provide 84bhp and 108bhp tunes respectively. For the transmission duties, 5-speed and 6-speed manual gearbox will be continued with optional CVT automatic features for petrol and AMT feature for the diesel model. Renault is planning to put an end on the diesel variant by 2020 but right now both the variant are BSVI ready for the customers.
The new Renault Duster will rival the popular Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks and Kia Seltos with an expected price of Rs. 8- 13.5Lakhs (ex-showroom) starting from the base model to the advance.
