Tata Motors Launched Tigor EV With Extended Range At Rs 9.44 Lakh

 Tata Motors has forged ahead with its new Tigor EV that comes with an extended range to meet the needs of both fleet and personal segment customers with the price that starts at Rs 9.44 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) after deducting all the government subsidies. The Tigor Electric will be available in 3 variants – XE+, XM+ and XT+ across 30 cities. 

The new extended version delivers an excellent driving range which is rated at 213 km on a single charge that is almost 71 kilometers more than before. Based on the launch of the Tigor EV, Tata Motors Head-Sales Electric Vehicle Business, AsheshDhar remarked, “Tigor EV Extended Range model aptly addresses the requirements of longer-range applications and also provides higher revenue earning potential for our commercial customers”.

The Tigor EV gets signature EV decals on the side, while a premium look is cemented on the front grille. The alloy wheels on the car are different too that sports a shark-fin antenna & LED high mounted stop lamp at the rear. Tigor EV is available in 3 colour variants such as Pearlescent white, Egyptian blue, and Roman silver.

 

There have been transformations made in the inside too as the Tigor EV is coming in black and grey interiors. The car also features a single-speed transmission, while the fabric seats are also at a height-adjustable seat. The car is backed by a 21.5 kWh battery pack but the power figures have not yet been put out by the company. Other standout features include dual airbags (XE+ variant with Driver Airbag only) and an anti-lock braking system as standard safety features. The vehicle is also well equipped with an inbuilt warranty of 3 years or 1.25 lakh kms, whichever is earlier.
