Triumph Reveals 2020 Street Triple RS
Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the 2020 Street Triple RS with refreshed styling, upgraded features, and an updated engine. The new looks are more aggressive and focused and the new LED twin-headlamps adds up to the physical presence of this vehicle. The updated version of Street Triple also showcase some changes in the body panels, flyscreen, side panels, rear unit, seat cowl, and belly pan. All the changes add up to sportier looks for the vehicle and Triumph has also used this opportunity to introduce a new seat of graphics on the TFT instrument display that now features Bluetooth and GoPro control via accessory chip.
Triumph Street Triple RS sports a 765cc, inline-triple engine that meets the Euro 5 emission norms. It also gets a new, free-flowing exhaust with a carbon fiber tip. It generates 123hp and 79Nm of torque but with reduced rotational inertia up to 7%, it punches low and mid-range torque. It will come paired with a 6-speed gearbox supported by the new up-and-down quick-shifter.
For more focus towards performance, Street Triple RS by Triumph will continue to sport track-ready components such as Brembo M50 Monobloc calipers, a fully adjustable Showa fork and Ohlins STX40 rear mono-shock. The motorcycle is expected to be launched in India shortly and it will be interesting to watch the response it gets from the Indian consumers.
