Upcoming Cars Launch in India in the Coming Months
The festive season in the country has always been the prime time for the automobile brands to bring out their special creation for the Indian Market. This festive season will be no different as the country is probably to witness some upcoming cars in India having new models that include new cars and facelifts that will be arriving in the showrooms in the next couple of months. Among the numerous brands that compete to stay uptight in the industry, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Renault, and Honda are sure to add in their respective portfolio.
The Upcoming Cars in India arriving soon in Couple of Months:
S-Presso is the production-spec version of Maruti’s Future S Concept and it will finally hit the market by September 30. It will be a micro-SUV that would contain SUV-like features including styling, appeal and would directly take on the Renault Kwid and Datsun Redigo. It will debut as a BSVI-compliant vehicle with Maruti’s K10 petrol motor. It would churn out 68HP and 90Nm of torque and would slightly drop on the mileage.
The next car in the list of upcoming launches includes Volkswagen Polo and Vento. Both the vehicles have been receiving an appraisal for their performance and the brand just does not want their customers to be disappointed. The brand will launch Polo and Vento by September 04 with an updated BS-VI petrol engine which keeps the design of the vehicles hidden. The engine is expected to be a new turbocharged 1.0-litre engine and we would see these facelifts ruling the roads very soon.
Renault Kwid since the launch has received a lot of appraisal from the customers for its compact size, features, and design. Now, the highest-selling model of Renault will get a major update in the next month. The updates involve design updates on the outside, pedestrian safety norms and some tweaked interiors. It would feature similar interiors as Triber that would make the vehicle enter the market with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster to the dashboard, steering wheel and upgraded BSVI-specs for the engine. The vehicle will be offered with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options.
Hyundai has been into the game this year in its top gear, the brand has made some big launches that include Venue and Grand i10 Nios. Now, the brand plans to bring out the refreshed version of Elantra that would rival against Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla Altis, and Honda Civic. The product will receive changes to the exteriors as well as interiors. So far the changes in the vehicle have not been displayed but the vehicle will arrive with a BSVI-compliant 2.0-litre petrol engine giving out 152HP.
Honda is also expected to enter into the highly competitive midsize SUV segment with its new vehicle HR-V. The vehicle will compete against the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier, and MG Hector. Most of the outer styling of the vehicle can be related to the CR-V and on the interiors. These would involve specs like the 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a sunroof, and some other premium comfort features. The HR-V will get a 141HP, 1.8-litre petrol CVT combination, and 120HP, 1.6-litre diesel-manual.
