The LT4 is used in Corvette Z06 and Camaro ZL1 generating 650 horsepower and 881 Nm.

The 4.0-litre M178 is the latest addition to the Mercedes-Benz V8 family. The engine debuted in AMG GT starting with 456hp. The new AMG GT R is able to squeeze out 577hp and 699 Nm of torque. The engine gets a peculiar design in order to remain compact and light, along with BorgWarner turbos that are positioned inside the V configuration. It is the first engine manufactured by the company with this feature and the German Automaker calls this feature, ‘Hot Inside V’.

Radical 2.7-litre RPE V8

Radical is a UK-based small-batch sports car manufacturers and they mostly use the Suzuki Motorcycle engine as a base which makes them so special. 2.7-litre RPE V8 is counted among those engines and it is currently used in the SR8 sports car. The RPE V8 is capable of producing 405hp allowing small vehicles to reach from 0-100 in just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 278kmph.

  • McLaren 4.0-litre M840T Twin-Turbo V8

McLaren 4.0-litre M840T Twin-Turbo V8

The 4.0-litre M840T is the latest edition to the McLaren family. The current V8 replaces the M838T 3.8-litre which was used to generate power in 650S, 675LT, and McLaren P1. The engine is capable of generating 710hp and 418Nm of torque. This version of the engine is not used in many vehicles which makes it one of the limited edition engines offered by McLaren.
